I stare out into the night

peer into the night

In the distance

I see a flikering light



A flash of metal

a blade unsheathed

I see a blast of flame

and hear the knights scream



I hear the roar

A dragon's call

"Knights die here

come one come all"



I grab my bow

Run out the door

I can't take its taunts

Anymore



Run to the shack

Grab the oil

I turn it up

to a boil



Dip in my arrows

one by one

The dragons life

will soon be done



I run to the dragon

call out his name

Fire my arrow

smotherd in dragonbane



He cries his curses

Falls over to die

I watch its blood seep out

and look towards the sky



I am finished

my family revenged

the dragon will harm

never again
