You came into my life, swept me off my feet,

the chemistry between us....i could barely stand the heat.

We were good together, everybody knew it,

only a few years later we both nearly blew it.

The struggles of life took over, we let it and lost our way,

none of us wanting to admit it, untill that dark November day.

We carried on, we stumbled through,

deep inside us was the truth, only you and i knew.

Through all the fights, all the tears,

all the angry words said on too many beers,

through all the pain, all the doubt,

through all the times i kicked you out,

through the rough times, the incredably tough times,

we still stood as one, the truth only you and i knew......

because we are strong.

We made mistakes, we're only human,

we got some things wrong,

we live, we grow, we learn and

we move on.

The joy of our story is this and nothing more,

we got through it together, we are better than before.
