When your having a hard time, see pity in peoples eyes,
When your holding onto relationships you should have left behind,
When your head knows the truth, but your heart takes the lead,
When no ones around to pick you up,
When you think thats what you need.
When your stood alone to fight a war, of raging feelings and so much more,
When theres no place left to run, no place left to hide,
When your heart finally excepts, the truth thats in your mind.
When you have nothing left but the strenght thats in your toes,
When you wake one day and realize, hold on, that strenght, it grows.
When you let go of the anger, the doubt, the war,
When you take the steps of recovery,
When your free to be yourself once more.
