Harmony, amongst fine lines and curves,
glazed with hues of such delicate shades
Altogether, contours soulful verves,
an artwork, a portrait that parades;
Natural and simple as it seems,
those thin lips and dark almond-shaped eyes
Alters reality into dreams,
radiant and gentle as a sunrise;
Mere glance to such image – a solace
as those eyes squints along with a smile
In rhythm with short laughs, its priceless
a memory, a moment worthwhile;
Dare I say my thoughts through this sonnet
Painted words to keep in thy locket.
