Pour down deep into my heart and soul
Wash away my fears and tears at all.
Oh rain, I long for you earnestly
The drops of comfort you shed on me.
At times when I feel sad and hopeless
Your sympathy is there to caress.
I then stare above the dark gray sky
Knowing at any rate you're ready to cry.
Rain, stay with me and don't go away
Or maybe just come another day.
As the rainbow now shines vividly,
No reason for me to be lonely.
