BEAUTY-TRUTH AND TRUTH - LOVE'S BEAUTY

Keats... gone!
Emily... gone!
Browning and
Barrett...all gone!

Names stay,
Poetry lives,
Graves speak,
On and on...

When I was young,
A poem I wrote,
Predicting how,
I'll be -- forlorn.

Time's caravel,
Does not stop,
From the birth day,
To the last farewell.

O my woman!
My beloved one!
Closest you are,
To your loved one.

I see you high,
Overwhelmingly,
Everywhere,
Always quite nigh.

Full moon nights,
Reveal to me,
The cool shades,
Of your subtlety.

In your arms,
I 'll lovingly,
Describe love,
More eloquently.

In your eyes,
I shall dwell,
In your smile,
Shall I revel...

You are mine:
And I yours;
And our love,
Eclipses time.

And to the world
Will our love be
'Beauty-truth'...
'Truth- love's beauty'.

I messed up!

The title of the book is, 'Byron In Love' by Edna Obrien here is a link to a review of that book I think you would benefit from reading. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/bookreviews/4246950/Byron-in-Lo...
Though the review is not very flattering the book I found was quite revealing. She did make some excuses for the man but I found him entirely disgusting and lacking in any true moral convictions. Anyway, thought you might enjoy reading this. all the best.............you know who?

Byron's lifestyle you would have been sickened by!

Read Edna Obrian's book, 'Byron In His Letters' She paints a picture of Byron from
his own personal letters and letters from his friends replying back. Though he wrote beautifully, he did not live up to the beauty of his poems. He was nasty and into serious homo erotica and incestuously married. He had no idea what a real gentleman was. He merely pretended to believe in love and be the gallant lover in his poems. I adored his She walks In Beauty poem but after reading a very accurate outline of his life I was thoroughly disgusted by him as a man. It pained me to read your lovely poem and include him. I wish you would omit him and use the likes of Coleridge, Tennyson or Longfellow instead. I hate to see your beautiful poem corrupted by the likes of Byron's name being mentioned. Loved the poem though thoroughly, thanks for sharing, you know who!......... so why type it?............smiles
