Nothing in this world is without a meaning
And nothing can, like love, be as revealing
And for love to be cherished like a divine truth
It has to be felt and relished as God's blessing.
A wind beyond control becomes a great storm,
As a flame without boundary, becomes a blaze;
A life without goodness and virtues becomes hell,
Love too is the same -- a feeling which shouldn't swell.
A mother and a father love their children,
But they discipline them and instill in them reason;
So too, men and women must know how to behave,
Loving each other truly without letting lust 'ripen'.
Love is the sacred link between man and God,
And lust is the fruit that dispelled us from Eden.
I am sure that many of you will still not agree,
With my philosophy, fathom its deep wisdom.
But all those like me, will accept, without sighs,
That while love is Godly; lust is Satan's vice.
Lust is like greed, craving self-gratification,
Love is pure and holy, 'higher' than all the skies!
