YOU AREN'T ALONE
You may have been forced to think
You are always alone
But my dear poetess friend
We are never alone
For there is God at the brink
Waiting for us to take hold of His 'hand'
And be saved from the vicious circle
Of human abandonment
And His great love for us is grand
For He is the Only One
Who expects nothing
While loving unconditionally
And showering without even our asking
Blessing upon blessing.
I too felt like you not so long ago
Till He made me aware
That He is there and always there
For everyone who finds
Herself or himself
Distraught and all alone.
And remember this too
That you have made me your friend
And by God my dear poetess
I will prove it to the very end
That God and I
Are here for you
And the promise is true
We will not leave you
Abandoned and alone
To be sad and left out
Yes, God the Greatest,
And I His faithful believer
Are always here for y ou
So cheer up and dance
For the Message has come
That You Aren't Alone.
