HEAVENLY VOWS

I am told to forget,
the girl in green and white,
the maiden with hazel eyes,
the solace outlet,
my first love -- Is it right?
Memories cannot fade,
or wither away,
they just love to stay,
all the way,
evergreen freshness doesn't fade.
She comes to me as promised,
showers her warmth,
and ethereal charm,
like a magic wand,
and undying love glows like jade.
So, my dear friends, all,
compel me not,
or say long not,
don't call her "dead",
for her soul and mine have wed.
Even Hades,
failed to take her away,
so strong is her sway,
she loves to be mine and stay,
come what may,
our heavenly vows were not word-play.
