Diana Krall's pathos-filled voice floats,
As she gives feeling to:
"Cry me a river...
...I cried a river for you..."
Night breeze with its dew drops,
Makes me mellow as I too sing:
"Cry me a river...
...I cried a river for you..."
I am on the verge of tears.

Then, Stacey Kent takes over poignantly,
As she croons on stage, live,
A melodiously moving song on friendship.
She reminds me of my sweetest friend...
O Donna!
How we long to be with each other,
In this world of betrayals,
Lies, hypocrisy,
Treacheries and deceptions!

For eons together:
You and I,
Like birds of a feather...
The past worsens matters,
As I recall and remember,
How beautiful those worlds were,
Where we both shared,
Everything purer,
And lovelier!
