AN EXPLOITED MAN'S PRAYER TO GOD THE GREATEST
O Lord God of all worlds You must be watching
How this planet of Yours is withering and whining
Are You sure Your angels did not make a mistake
By placing me among those who aren't human beings?
It is pre-dawn and I am alone and suffering
While ignoramuses are selfishly enjoying
Ill-gotten riches and flaying the needy
By depriving them of even their honest earnings.
What sort of a world is this, indeed I am wondering
Where the unfit and callous are daily destroying
The peace of mind of people, their rest and their sleep
By exploiting their talents and giving them nothing?
I am ridiculed and insulted after giving them my best
In work and knowledge and justly expecting
The fruits of my sincere and honest hard labour
Tell me why O Lord God, why is this happening?
A braggart who wanted my services is now shirking
To pay me what I have earned by constantly working
For what he claims is but all his doing.
My friend thinks I am slipping and sinking
When I tell him about this braggart's deceiving
If You are really in our heavens then please do justice
And exalt me so that I crush such exploiting
By these feudal mindsets and give them a whupping
Which they justly deserve at the hands of men like me
Raise my status and grant me power O Lord God
So that I knock out the pride of these devils lurking
These devils who are bent upon only ruining
The honest way of life of those who are toiling
Day and night as servants of these satans
Bless me O Allah and respond to my pleading.
Make me strong and affluent, rich and affluent
And from Your vast and abundant blessings
Enable me to humble these demonic beings.
O my Lord God Allah please note I am praying
At a time when You come down to our heavens
Please strengthen me like You strengthen Your bold men
And bless me and grant me all that I am asking
You made a little boy called David vanquish Goliath
You made Samson destroy the idol called Dagon
And to all those who sought Your help got it and crushed
Goliaths and Pharoahs withYour Will and Your blessing.
