Blue, gray, black and yellow
How nights change colour!
Fresh, evergreen, true and constant
My love for you forever.

Author's Notes/Comments:
This poem was inspired by lines from a sonnet by William Shakespeare in which he writes: "Let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments...Love is not love if it alters when it alteration finds..." How true indeed! This poem was sent via postal mail to me and I am Laz Al Baik, Muhammad Naveed Ahmed aka Emmenay's friend for more than two decades...just a friend, nothing more :) Naveed is on an assignment in an unspecified location. Well, I hope all you poetry lovers (writers and readers enjoy this short but beautiful and meaningful poem). I love it...like I love almost all of my poet-friend's poetry.
