Caught within falling boundaries,
I stoop to stand high.
Struggling infinitely,
Is Goliath, under my knees.
You my beloved,
Admire them, constantly,
Even though you see,
They are frail against me.
Your honeyed words sting,
Every healed wound reopens;
The angels around us,
Are aghast at your emotions.
While the devils that lurk,
Are constantly pleased.
Now, even after watching,
The tallest ones fall,
You ignore your man,
Before whom you are small.
You admire Goliaths -
Before Davids, who crawl.
