MY LIFE  



My life is not so simple

Its not how you think it is

My life is not very full

It's actually very empty



I get a lot of nasty looks

And many bad names

I try to drift off with books

They take me into a fantasy world



But that fantasy only lasts so long

Soon its back to reality

So I just write another song

To express the way I feel



I don't think the people who tease me

Know how much pain they cause

I don't know why they cant let me be

I've done nothing wrong



Just because I am different

I'm an individual person

They cant take a hint

To leave me alone



There are school shootings and suicides all over the country

Because of teasing from peers

Kids cant just let other kids be

They have to make an impression



A lasting impression in their souls

For all of eternity

Holding them back from all of their goals

Is really what teasing does



So please, for my sake and the sake of others

Stop teasing your fellow peers

It really brings many tears

And horrible things can follow.
