My Love

My love for you is ocean

We hurt and then we heal

And every time we struggle

I’m sinking deeper still

We yell and shout in anguish

Of needing to be heard

And when the storm is vanished

We climb on solid shore

And once our feet hit ground

Exhausted from the fight

I know, we didn’t drown

Our love had just survived
