A year today
It would have been a year today
Since I once said yes
It should have been a great day
Instead it's just regret
It should have been a year today
But we never made 6 months
And now on this year today
I think of what once was
You see a year ago I thought I'd never leave
But a few months be for today I relized that couldn't be
Evan though its a year today
You still been haunting my dreams
Maybe now that it's almost been a year
I won't wake up in screams
Since it's almost been a year
Maybe I'll forget the past
Maybe on this year I'll regret we didnt last
So a year ago today is now just a leson learned
No matter how herd you love
The harder you get burned

I love this poem. I love how it flows so nicely explaining what happened a year ago and why it was lesson learned.
It reminds me of my ex actually. So I definitely know where you're coming from with this! I've got several on my page that were about him. We lasted 6 months after the ring.
But I feel this is simply amazing!
