I’m not a gambler
Yet my chips are fast disappearing
Without being cashed in
I look around a smoke-filled room and wonder
Who is the most skilled
At the game
At erasing his features
At both
I wonder
And I know where I am
But I
Am not
A gambler
So
I ask to be
Dealt a hand
