Saying goodbye.
the day we met, was one of greatest days of my life.
i made a friend for life, one who would stick by myside forever.
I never thought you would leave us so quickly.
You where a treasure, a hidden Gem, so valuable.
you where the sweetest person iv ever met in my life.
you stood by myside threw it all. I never stood alone.
i had you to keep me tall, to keep me strong,
you held my hand when i felt Weak instead.
you protected me from others around me,
and from myself when I was in a dark place.
you never gave up on me, even when I was being stupid.
even when I over reacted.
when I felt alone, you reminded me I wasn't.
you called me Elfy daily, I never heard my name.
you made me special, made me feel cared for,
day in and out. Even when nobody else would.
you kept me safe, wouldn't let me go no where without you,
walking miles by myside so I wouldn't get hurt.
stealing my jackets, and carrying my backpack,
pulling my shirt up, drinking my coffee.
holding me when my world was falling apart,
when my heart was crumbling and dying inside.
when my grandmother died, when I got molested,
when I was failing, and thought I was going no where in life.
you where there to pick me up and wipe my tears away
land carry me along till I could walk along again.
you called me your hero, but instead D,
you where mine. You saved me.
i could never thank you enough,
and now that your gone, I feel a piece of me
has gone with you.
now it's time to say goodbye,
and with these tears I cry,
I say my prayers, and wave.
