I shall be the shadow,

light color tones,

in your happiness

shall vanish with the wind,

only observe,

as my energy being is tossed from horizon to horizon,

shall see the beauty of your smile,

be happy as I lose your sight,

I know someone that accompanies you

making you smile,

will be thrilled,

but I shall not show my face,

you may have all your friends,

but a shadow being should not be insight,

bright lights blind my eyes,

if this is the case,

I will sacrifice the honor

to see your image and never show my face,

yet another wound my heart would take,

I will carry another tear on my face,



as the sun fades away,

all your smiling friends go away,

they are afraid,

rain pours down your face,

you sit on an empty bench,

I will gain weight,

with my arms create barriers to stop the rain,

will keep you warm and dry with my hands,

my ear path full with your words,

always listening,

will act as a clown,

utter comical words,

for I would adore to be blind by your smile,

clouds they say goodbye,

sun shows its face on again,

here comes your smiling friends,

the shadow will vanish as your friends show there face,

I will be out,

but I shall never be gone
