i'm scared,

i don't know what to do,

all i know is that i want you,

i want to be your man,

your protector,

your friend,

the question is what do you want,

do you still want me,

do you still love me,

or is it all a game,

am i setting myself up to get hurt again,

not saying that the outcome will be the same this time around,

but the pain will be the same,

the tears will be real,

the fears are now stronger,

and deeper,

yet my love has remained the same,

emotionally i might be weak when it comes to you,

but i don't care what happened in the past,

i just know that i love you,

and if you still love me,

can we please give us another chance,

you be my girl and i'll be your man,

standing side by side,

against whatever may come,

cause in my heart there is a love which continues to live on.......earl
