Failure
You left me in a trance
You were so real to me
I forgot about your arrogance
My heart and soul poured into you
molded into your skin
yearning to be part of you
to be within.....
A taste of your fleshy lips I stole
The lonely pain seeped from my pores
The rusted vessel in my chest whole
Ignorant of your heart's barricaded doors
Now pain washes over me
Drowned by my own tears
I've crumbled to the heartless ground
Grinding me in your wordless gears
How could you be so blind
Love was right in your face!
But I guess I've come to find
I've failed to be worthy of your grace
