Obsession

A crimson colored pool of blood

A heart no longer full of love

An awful crime he did commit

Hate took over while love hid

A frozen heart consumed by pain

Splattered blood creates a stain

If he couldn't have her, nobody would

Devised a plan so no one could

Outside her house as darkness fell

Walked up to the door, rang the bell

He looked at her like never before

Shut the windows, locked the door

A possessed state of mind, an obsessed little boy

Never play with a heart, for a heart's not a toy

Pain so deep, cuts like a knife

She stole his heart, he stole her life

Up to her head he placed the gun

A shot went off, the job was done

A silent scream, a gasp for air

He found himself deep in despair

He settled up against the wall

In shock that he could breathe at all

A guilty conscience to set free

Another shot would be the key

A crimson colored pool of blood

A jealous rage, a loaded gun

Obsession taken so extreme

Two shots, two lives, a new crime scene
