Waiting game
There came a day where I did you wrong
and ever since then it's been like a game of ping-pong
back and forth in your head you go
unsure of what to do or what to know.
I promised you I'd love you forever
do you think I'd go back on that ever?
I've said over and over how I'd take care of you
only to see someone else is influencing you
it's so frustrating not knowing what to say
to convince you that I want you everyday.
You keep questioning why I love
and I answer just look to the sky above
stare at the stars and you'll see why
the love I have takes me so high
not another thought or doubt in mind
will you have of it's kind.
I can only hope and pray
that soon you may
welcome me back into your life
so I can one day I can eventually make you my wife.
