Deconstructing Time



no more a slave to old man Chronos

no clock on the kitchen wall

no calendar in the hall or days designated as

   one more special from any other

no more means of measuring progress

   or the lack thereof

acknowledging only its usefulness in the 

   managing of menial tasks, a timer begotten

   from that time I'd forgotten to turn off the

   hose and emptied the 5000 gallon water

   tank (for which the garden was grateful,

      so see no worry)

kept in step by the internal tictoc, 

   the Cosmic clock

knowing that the most profound experiences

    arise spontaneously, unbidden,

      from the Timeless
