The Nitty-Gritty
Grateful. Yes and mystified that I had the good fortune to be sitting at the feet of someone who was actually making sense to me.
"I Am - it is the only thing we really know for sure - everything else is superfluous information - don't identify yourself with the world and you will not suffer"
To test this theory required little effort but to remind myself that anything beyond the "I Am" was a fallacy. I am hot. I am cold. I am tired. I am hungry. That to contemplate these concepts brought them into being as a matter of programming the mind but to investigate further was to realize that all these experiences are both transitory and illusory.
