No matter how hard I strive

To feel alive

For it to thrive

But i'm empty inside

No self pride

Love denied

I'm headstrong

And i'll move on

The past is gone

So i'll let it rest

Put my feelings to the test

I deserve the best

The best is hard to find

With my past being rewind

It's always there to remind

I think I had enough

To emotional to handle all this stuff

I know the going gets rough

And it might never be

I'll just let it come to me

Thats all I ever had

Wanting something so bad

And now it makes me sad

My feelings sacrificed

Took a chance and rolled the dice

Listened to my own advice

I'm shy

And it might be why

Inside I want to die

I'll live to try another day
