Cold hard dose of reality,

Blew out my knee,

Shadow of the man that I used 2 b,

All I ever had was the game,

And now all I've got left is shame,

Lost and i'm 2 blame,

They used 2 scream my name,

I'm a let down,

I was once the talk of the town,

I was famous, I was known,

And now i'm left all alone,

Took one 2 many things 4 granted,

I regret all those times that I raved and ranted,

I had money once upon a time,

Now I have 2 beg for every lousy dime,

I was eligable, now i'm undeclared,

Everybody starred,

Most of them glared,

Struck me out,

I don't doubt,

I deserve everything I get,

I'm sick of this shit,

That not the kind of man I want 2 b,

Nothing comes 4 free,

Pay the price, it's a heavy fee,

Maybe I might start 2 c,

I don't know what it's gonna b,

All I know is I need 2 try,

I wanna smile just b4 I die...
