i don't have the courage to feel like this,

without something happening,

i don't know the words to express it,

i haven't the strength left to go through,

the motions of being happy,

when i'm not.

i don't have the faith left in my dreams,

to continue hoping in vain,

i can't find my voice,

to tell you all i want,

how much you mean to me,

though if i couldn't i don't think it would make a difference,

i can't go on living like this,

i know there's nothing for us, together,

i feel i'm falling,

into an abyss of hopelessness,

these words are my only comfort,

and they little at that,

nothing can kill the hurt,

or numb the pain,

it's pointless to love you.
