fold your wings around me,

engulf me in your warmth,

that you breath is reason enough for celebration,

for within you,

lives all I have ever desired,

my heart beats only for you,

all before you have dwindled to pinpricks of light,

and you remain as the sun.

let your wings beat,

but do not fly away from me,

for without you,

how am I to live?

whisper those words to me again,

with your heavenly voice,

so that my soul may rush,

hover above me,

keeping watch now,
