Lessons I've Learned

Folder:
Poetry

Dreams come silently,

Then they go,

Just like a river,

They twist and flow,

There are things,

We don't understand,

But regardless,

We lend a hand,

Reep what you sow,

Live as you speak,

Don't tear down the strong,

To build up the weak,

Live and prosper,

Follow your heart,

Do things honestly,

From the very start,

Swallow your pride,

The meek shall inherit,

Go through life,

On your own merit,

Reach out and touch,

Don't watch things go by,

Take action right now,

Tell the truth; not lies,

Trust yourself,

And you will go far,

Try your best,

And reach for the stars,

Shoot for the moon,

Face your fears,

Dry your eyes,

Wipe away the tears,

Talk things out,

No violence please,

Be young at heart,

And soar over seas,

You can do anything,

If you just try,

Don't listen when you hear,

That your limit isn't the sky,

Go beyond boundaries,

Stretch up and beyond,

Search far and wide,

There's no chains or bonds,

Listen to your heart beat,

And the whispers in the wind,

Take wise advice,

Make many friends,

Don't hold back,

Just look around,

Patience is a virtue,

One that needs to be found,

Place yourself,

In another's life,

And you'll know what it's like,

When there's pain and strife,

Always remember,

No one is perfect,

And see everything,

Through your own aspects.
