Back in '82, a soft wind blew
Bringing with it an Angel
In the form of a baby girl
Beauty like no other
Men would soon discover
That this Angel they would love her
In the hope of her loving them, too
Her eyes are full of love
Sent from Heaven above
Her hair as raidiant as the ever glowing sun
When she smiles, flowers bloom
And every heart in every room she enters, beats
with a thunderous boom.
Ever graceful as she walks
As she passes men they look
As one of God's Angels is in their midst
And so many will close their eyes
Hoping for themselves to realize
What it would be like to feel her tender kiss
There are many Angels on God's Earth
And I've known only one since my birth
The thought of her love brings tears to my eyes
And to this Angel I would say
That happiness will come her way
And love and peace she'll also realize
She deserves love more than any other
And her body I would cover
To protect her from the harshness of the world
But then God himself would step in
Telling me with a grin
That he's already looking after his baby girl.
