Dearest Friend

I love him,
I really do.
But distance is a factor,
And communication too.
I'm true to him,
I trust his word.
I wanna be with him,
but I can't be hurt.
So I'm trusting him with my heart,
Hoping it won't come to an end.
But even if it does,
He'll become my dearest friend.
