Broken Promises

You promised we would last forever,
That I would always be your baby,
That you would come for me someday.

You promised me a happy marriage,
Incredable happy children,
A puppy just for me.

You promised to always love me,
To always care about me,
To always be there for me.

From the start,
You had me heart,
And promised to never let it go.

Now i'm sitting here with a broken heart,
While tears seep down my face,
I try to go to my happy place,
But all the crosses my mind is,
Broken promises.
