When I was born he was there

If I was tired he tucked me in bed

He hugged me if when I was sad

I remember the wisdom he said



To me he is the greatest

I look up to him more than anyone

For he is who I will always love

I want to achieve what he has done



Ask me who my hero is

I will smile and say his name

Father and a loving husband

Loving life as a fun game



Helping and caring

Attacking only to defend

He would never fight without reason

He would never ever offend



Tall, dark and handsome

Eyes of mystery but warm

A heart of solid gold

Strong and muscle form



I am proud to share the name

Of the greatest hero to me

If you let him fill your heart

You'll realise what I see
