I sent an Angel to Heaven

I hit my knees, I cry out to the heavens above, god you thief, you stole my love

This is a lesson I never learn, we live to lose, grow up to give in

This is a bridge I'll never be able to burn, we live to choose, grow up to hope we get in

I had heaven she had blue eyes and brown hair, she was everything I wanted, hope she's there

Not because I'll see her again, god may forgive but I remember everything, I relive it everyday, I'd rather go to hell to witness him burn, then to go to heaven, I had my heaven

Forgive me god for I'm covered in sin, be good to my girl because I don't think I'll ever get in

Author's Notes/Comments:

This one was a little hard to write, I wanted to put my feelings into a belief of someone I truly loved.
