My Father´s Team

Glory Glory Man United, my father´s team chant, he always encouraged me to see the games, even though he wasn´t a big fan, Glory Glory Man United, I saw great players threw there, and I´m grateful to my father for introducing me to them, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tévez, Even the first Mexican Javier Chicharito Hernandez. Yes, this club has given me great emotions, my father bought me my first official soccer jersey ever in London, on a trip he went when I was 7 years old. The jersey had number 7, and it wasn’t just for my birthday, but one of my favorite players ever, Cristiano Ronaldo. UNITED, OH UNITED, how happy makes me this chant, memories come to my mind, I see the posters of Beckham, Ronaldo, and Chicharito, all there on my room, as I learned to control the ball. I also remember my father showing me videos of Ronaldo and Rooney playing for nike on that famous video web page now called Youtube. Glory Glory Man United, my father loved playing soccer with me, and he was a big fan of legend goalie Edwin Van der Sar, every time that man united played he had a comment of praise for Van der Sar, when my father was younger he used to be a goalie, so that’s why he encouraged me to play as a goalie. I really liked playing goalie, but playing striker was my calling, and my father knew that, I believed that, because of the Ronaldo´s jersey he bought me. Oh Glory Man United, two of the best football games I had ever watched Man United was there, and yes I watched them with my father. Man United vs Chelsea, Man United vs Barcelona, those where some great football matches, and I´m proud of saying that my father and I had the opportunity to see them together. My father introduced me to this amazing team, he showed me the team values, to never give up, and introduced me to a sport that I love, for that I could only say Glory Glory Man United.
