From the coast of paradise
Across the seven seas
TO the deep waters of Lythica
The voyagers travel on
Seeking another more perfect union
With man and mammal, sea to the sky
Taking with them a lust for gold
And an appetite for wine and mead
Sailing onwards to the land of Zanzibar
The waters rising high against the moon
In this crusade they haven't struck land so far
But the gather in reprise for a tune
"Pegasus, my faithful crusader
Who saved us from the Caltic invaders
Bring us to this land
Where every man
Can be enchanted by the beaty
Be enchanted by magical sands"
Hope begins to die, another year goes by
Sailing to the ends of the earth
Starvation sets in, the plague is among us
Salvation is naught to be found
A city on a hilltop through the telescope
With emeralnd deep forest green palm trees
And every mythical creature stands
On the magical sunlit sands
The wanderers arrive
To their newfound paradise
Dance around the bonfire, with song and rum
Take to the streets of gold to find your avenue
And every year that goes by
Another sailer dies in peace
And is buried 'neath the old willow tree
