A sliver of the moon

My rating for this poem: *

(*-pure crap, **-Not so Great, ***-Farely decent, ****- Excellent, *****- Outstanding)

A silvery sliver that shimmers in the sky,

That silvery sliver of the crescent moon,

Like a white shiny ball that learned how to fly,

The one you can't see in the noon.

The glint of the moon that orbits the earth,

How it shines in the sky at midnight

it looks so rich, in all of it's mirth

I see the great moon at it's height.

The moon has been here as long as I've lived

Since the date of my birth,

I see the dark shadows, just like a cliff,

and I love it, in all of its worth.

The moon still shimmers and shines in the night,

like a light bulb, stunning, shining, and bright.
