As if a silent whine did sound
At once my fellow creatures rise
Masquerades allow for wavering
Though we share the same disguise
Passion flees from cracks belittled
Ironic trophies name allies
Soundless to disputing quandaries
Convey to me all you despise
Intentions never meant to harm
but paint a cloudless crystal sky
With inexperience who would gain
Absent cause for you and I
Each passing night with dreams forlorn
Should you awaken might I lie
Taunting specter boasts indifference
Tip toes over lidless eyes
