please take no heed
for my distance is nothing more
than a simple need.

a need to be the wolf I am
the need to be me.

you needn't worry to much
for the distance means you're my friend
and I like you as such.

please understand why.
I've been hurt so many times
sometimes I want to cry.

I promise its not bad
for though I may be distant from you
when around you I'm not sad.

I may be distant for now
