Out Of Reach...
Deeply Invested into life,
moving through suffering and strife.
Heading towards that life long dream,
impossible to reach, or so it seems...
Is it there? Is it real?
Or is it an illusion that I can feel?
I can see it with my two eyes,
I can feel it within my heart,
I can smell it with my nose
It's all there in time's precious sands
so tell me, Why can't I reach it with my hands?
Is it possible I could be wrong?
Am I singing a pointless song?
Or could it be that I am done,
with life's long game of fun?
Whatever the case, whatever may be
I'll keep on trying for eternity.
