He whispered,

She whispered,
"His wishes have all come undone."
A sighing of words
Of unsung phrases
A motion, an action not taken
Running a hand through the grass
I found his weakening smile
A ghost that wouldn't catch me
One last chorus for the dying breed
A fix to satiate the pestering need
A call out to those who still cannot sleep
Terrified of night, at least you can dream
from one sleep deprived being to another
I work the graveyard shift...
As I celebrate sleep lovers from all over the world.
I know that dreams can make wonderful things
Do not tell me that some pictures could replace them
What I saw in my dreams where we were bright speck of light, always trailing behind comets across the dark night sky,
another long-tailed comet lost in my sea of dreams and I query to myself do you believe in dreams?
