Dreams entangled in stars
Hung on the night sky
Fighting for truth somewhere inside

I hide the most desperate lie
A quick glance and you'll know
Can't bear to look you in the eye

I miss the smell of lavender heaven
Wrapped in velvet, somewhere sleeping
Her lover's wrath still keeping

Caught in a hypnogogia tide
Slice the cord that connects us
Stop the perpetual nightmare

Entwined in my head
A ghost in my bed
Free me of our binds

I hear your whispers around every corner
A silenced heart burning eternally
If only you could hear my screams

The fantasies of dimly lit corridors
Faces trapped in the heat
Of simply sweet and sickening devotion

Mind and heart unaware of deceit
Bodies don't know the blinding reality
Where love and lust inevitably meet

And I am possessed by it
Completely enveloped by your gaze
Starved for your attention, lost in a haze

A passerby fooled by the notion
Clawing at fate, wishing it wasn't real
Kill this misty dream in one swift motion
