Nostalgia, oh, nostalgia

I remember the summer,

When we'd spend every day together,

As if it were our last.

I remember the fall,

When we'd cuddle up next to each other,

And watch the leaves float to the ground.

I remember the winter,

When we would try and conserve heat,

By laying together underneath the blankets on your bed.

And then came Spring.

Everything fell apart.

Then came summer.

And everything crashed down.

When fall came that year,

We were both wrecks.

I didn't know what to do,

And You were as lost as I was.

Now it's starting all over again.

You're wandering around aimlessly,

And I'm shutting myself out.

But we have the answers.

WE'RE JUST AFRAiD OF LETTiNG THEM OUT.
