i dont write poetry
not in the typical sense
call it free verse
call it words with rymes
sometime
the intention is never to metion
how poetic iam
but a record for me
to hear and see my deeds
i may never become famous for what i write
but just like building castles in the sand
they'll wash away
they were never meant to stay
my life is cold and i wish i was bold
wish i could sieze the day
but i watch most of them slip away
this is not poetry
this is my life
and as i write
i die a little each night
