I wrote you a song because you wanted me to

I never knew it be the last thing that you’d ask me to do

I wanted to cry but instead I’ll sing my goodbye

So up in the sky, this one’s for you

I loved your smile and your fluid style

You always helped when I needed it most

We used to dance but now I’m moving with a ghost

I danced those steps again like we did back then

And I, I miss my friend

Can you see me now?

I got out of that hole somehow

Now I’ve got to find my way

But without you it’s darker day

So I pray that I find you in the end
