Tom and John have been best friends and car lovers so they organized a car race to see who is a better driver every year, the winner’s price was the car of the other racer’s car. The race consist of who gets first across the other side of the city from point to point with cops or without cops, there were no rules. Tom won the last three years races making John very mad, because all the cars he have invest too much money and loose. So this time he wasn’t with the idea to loose, he took out every penny he have of his savings, and he invest it on his car, making it a beast. Finally it came to the day of the race they were both ready, but John was out of his head, he was sweating and with a lot of adrenaline before the beginning John told Tom, “Get ready for the beating of your life”. The stopped on the traffic lights and waited for the green light to come. The race started Tom and John on full velocity crossing the city trying not to crash with someone or get followed by cops, everyone on the street and in other cars were making signals trying to make them reduce their velocity but they were all in nothing could stop them until John hit a car and scratch his car with a lamp post, making very deep damage to the car but that doesn’t stopped John and he continue to all velocity in the streets of the city. Tom was falling behind but not enough to John be sure of his winning so he put more pressure on the gas, doing everything to get that win until something terrible happened. There was a kid and her mom crossing the street, at the time John saw them crossing the street, there was no time to brake and John knew it so he took a decision, he swear he wouldn’t lose again, so he just went full in on the gas running over the kid and her mom instantly killing them. When Tom saw this he was in shock, he wanted to know why he would do that so he went after John to the end of the race when he got here, he step down of his car and with anger “What the hell is wrong with you?” Tom said, “What? Are you mad I am the winner and you a looser?” John answered, “Man, you just kill a boy and his mom and didn’t even brake, what is your problem? You psychopath!.” Tom said. John took a big breath and started realizing what he did. John started losing his breath just about thinking what he did. The police came and arrest them both, Tom got five years in for driving like crazy on the city and John got dead penalty for homicide. After Tom got out of jail and the killing of John he sold all his cars and decided to start again and leave everything that happen between both of them in the past.
