I will meet their fire with fire.
I'll take your explosions and
Explode. All that you fear will
Become my phobias and I'll
Shake and tremble so you
Can be brave. I'll be your sword
And shield so you can ride
Forth and save those worth
Saving. I'll be the scapegoat
That you can blame so that
You and all the others can move
Forward towards the dreams we
All have dreamt. I'll be the
Foundation of the bridge between
Now and then. Because I see the
Worth of this world and I won't
Let it be lost upon the hopeless
Masses. The apathetic who would
Live and die without lifting a
Finger. I refuse. So blame me
And the others, I'll take the fault.
However I'll do what I can to
Change things for the better
Before I pass on. Can you
Wholeheartedly say the same?
