Ones she loved
Ones she hated
Ones she didn’t even know.
I was determined not to add
My name to her list.
To love her without wanting
Something from her.
Not to use her body
Not to control where she went
Who she talked to.
To love her, for her alone.
Even if she only brings me pain
And we never connect like I hope.
I just want her to believe in me,
