Watch Me Disappear
I don't know what I expected to find here,
Certainly not this.
Not that I'm complaining,
This really is a pleasant surprise.
Still I fear it's only a matter of time
Before I disappear.
Things like this excite me, scare me,
Overwhelm me.
I know...I know.
I'm overly sensitive, that I
Shouldn't let these things carry
Me to such heights,
Or drag me to such lows.
But that's me. When I feel things
Every molecule is infinitely affected.
First the initial shock
Shakes me to my core.
Then the ceaseless after shocks
Of my mind shake the core
Until there's nothing left of me.
So forgive me. I'm afraid it
Feel this good. Because I know
For me there is no middle ground.
Soon I'll come crashing down.
